A Sedalia man sustained minor injuries in a traffic crash in Pettis County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 27-year-old Samuel Bishop reportedly swerved his eastbound vehicle to avoid some animals in the roadway; and his vehicle traveled off the roadway and overturned.
Bishop, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, refused treatment at the scene.
The crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Griessen Road, west of Randall Road.
