A Wilton, Iowa, man suffered serious injuries in a boating crash in Camden County on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound 2003 Baja, driven by 66-year-old Rick Hansen, reportedly struck a dock and an unoccupied vessel and came to rest partially through the dock roof.
Hansen, who reportedly was not wearing a safety device, was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach and then flown by Staff for Life helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at 9:45 p.m. at the 28 mile marker in Spring Branch Cove of the Lake of the Ozarks.
