A Warsaw resident was killed and another seriously injured in a traffic crash in Benton County on Saturday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 61-year-old Sonny Bradford reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, and his southbound vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a warning sign and three trees.
Bradford reportedly was flown by Life Flight helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. A passenger- 44-year-old Michael Orr- was pronounced deceased at the scene by Benton County Coroner Weston Miller at 7:46 p.m. Neither of the vehicle’s occupants reportedly was wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened just before 7:10 p.m. on Route BB at Allen Road.
