A Holden resident was seriously injured in a rollover traffic crash in Johnson County on Tuesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 19-year-old Jaren Bockover reportedly overcorrected his westbound vehicle after it had traveled off the roadway. The vehicle reportedly returned to the roadway, struck a guardrail, overturned and came to rest on its top.
Bockover, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Johnson County ambulance to Research Main Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.
The crash happened at 10:40 p.m. on U.S. Highway 50, one-tenth of a mile east of County Road 501.
