A Richmond teen driver suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Ray County on Wednesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 18-year-old Hallie Applebury, reportedly impacted the rear of another southbound vehicle, driven by 41-year-old Brandee Curtis, of Richmond, as Curtis was stopped for traffic waiting to turn left.
While Curtis reportedly was not injured, Applebury was transported by Ray County ambulance to Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington for treatment.
The crash happened at 8:40 a.m. on Missouri Highway 13, just north of 116th Street.
