A felony charge has been filed against a Goodman, Mo., resident for allegedly taking another person’s vehicle without permission in Saline County.
According to a probable-cause statement, on April 21, 40-year-old Consuela Diann Green allegedly took another person’s vehicle and left the area. The victim reportedly gave Green time and opportunity to return the vehicle before he reported it as stolen. The vehicle later was recovered in Newton County in the possession of Green. According to the Department of Revenue, Green is not its registered owner.
According to online court documents, Green has been charged with a Class D Felony for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree, with bond set at $5,000 cash or surety- 10-percent approved.
According to a release from the Saline County Sheriff’s Department, a warrant has been issued for Green’s arrest.
Green is described as being white, 5-foot-5 and about 215 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
