A Sweet Springs man suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Saline County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a freightliner, driven by 41-year-old Stephanie Windeknecht, of Gray Summit, was turning north onto U.S. Highway 65 from Southbound U.S. Highway 65 and reportedly struck a northbound vehicle, driven by 24-year-old Kenneth Bryson.
While Windeknecht reportedly escaped injury, Bryson was transported by Saline County E.M.S. to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at 12:45 a.m. on U.S. Highway 65 at 116th Trail.
