With continued dry weather over the last several days, more major highways in the KMMO listening area officially have been reopened to traffic.
According to MODOT’s Traveler Information map, in Howard County, the portion of U.S. Highway 40, from just east of the intersection of Highway 5 to just a few miles west of Rocheport, that was closed is now open; and in Ray County, Highway 10, between Norborne and Hardin, also has been reopened to traffic.
However, official closures remain on portions of major highways in Saline, Carroll and Lafayette Counties.
In Saline County, Highway 240 west of Glasgow remains closed.
In Carroll County, Highway 65, between Carrollton and Waverly; Highway 10, between Carrollton and Norborne; and Highway 41, north of Miami to near the junction of Highway 24, are closed.
In Lafayette County, Highway 224 at two locations between Lexington and Wellington is closed.
