A Huntsville man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle-vehicle traffic crash in Carroll County on Sunday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 52-year-old Jeffrey Vogan ran a stop sign and attempted a right turn on his northbound Harley Davidson onto Route E. His motorcycle reportedly was traveling too fast and struck the side of a westbound vehicle, driven by 63-year-old Phillip Wright, of Norborne.
Vogan, who reportedly was not wearing a safety device, was flown by Air Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. Wright reportedly was not injured.
The crash happened at 5:10 p.m. on Route E at Route D.
