The Missouri River continues to recede slowly, and the list of portions of major highways closed due to flooding in the KMMO listening area has been reduced by one.
According to MODOT’s Traveler Information map, in Carroll County, Highway 10 between Carrollton and Norborne that had been closed for several weeks is now officially open to traffic.
However, official closures remain on portions of major highways in Saline and Carroll Counties.
In Saline County, Highway 240 west of Glasgow remains closed.
In Carroll County, Highway 65, between Carrollton and Waverly; and Highway 41, north of Miami to near the junction of Highway 24, remain closed.
