A Marshall woman has been charged with a felony for allegedly stealing a vehicle on November 8, 2018.
According to a probable-cause statement, a man told authorities he went to take a shower, came out and noticed Mayme Beth Calfee and his vehicle were missing. The man said he traveled to search for the vehicle in Kansas City, Kansas, but that search came up empty at that time. He was told Calfee left with another man, and they were headed to Lacygne, Kansas.
Online court documents say a warrant has been issued and Calfee has been charged with a Class D Felony for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree. Bond has been fixed at $7,500 cash or surety.
Calfee’s initial hearing is pending at Saline County Circuit Court.
