Three area residents suffered serious injuries in a rollover all-terrain vehicle crash in Morgan County on Friday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a westbound ATV, driven by 20-year-old Samantha Williams, of Versailles, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the roadway, overturned and ejected all three of the ATV’s occupants.
Williams and 17-year-old Sarah Komrska, of Stover reportedly were flown by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment; and 20-year-old Jordon Burgess, of Versailles, was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for treatment. Reportedly, nobody on the ATV was wearing a safety device.
The crash happened at 11:30 p.m. on Victoria Road, one-half mile west of Missouri Highway 135.
