During a meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, July 23, Clerk Debbie Russell said some area residents are going to be casting ballots in August.

Russell said absentee voting is available to eligible voters in that special road district.

Absentee voting will continue during regular business hours at the county clerk’s office through 5 p.m. on Monday, August 5. The polling place will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6.
