Sister Mary Eleanor Castle, RSM, age 87, died Monday, July 22, 2019.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, where visitation begins at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery in Shackelford.

Memorials may be made to Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery or Sisters of Mercy Health and Retirement Fund, 1845 S. 72nd St., Omaha, NE 68124, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Survivors include her sisters of the Sisters of Mercy; one brother, Bill Castle; one sister, Sara Morris; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, William and Winnie (Jacoby) Castle; she was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Leo and William Castle Jr.; and two sisters, Patricia Campbell and Jean Burnside.
