A Sedalia woman suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Pettis County on Monday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as southbound International dump truck, driven by 58-year-old Ronald Gassen, of Corder, was attempting a right turn, and 22-year-old Mattea Adams reportedly failed to recognize it and her southbound vehicle struck the rear of the dump truck. Adams’ vehicle overturned into the median.
While Gassen reportedly was not injured, Adams was transported by Pettis County ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for treatment.
The crash happened at 12:50 p.m. on U.S. Highway 65, just north of Route C.
