A FEMA disaster recovery center will open for three days in Chariton County starting Monday, August 5, 2019.
According to a news release from a FEMA representative, the center will be open to provide one-on-one assistance to Missourians affected by recent flooding, severe storms and tornadoes.
Recovery specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Small Business Administration will provide information on available services, explain assistance programs and help survivors complete or check the status of their applications.
Missourians from any county may visit any recovery center.
The disaster recovery center will be located at Knight and Rucker Hall at 117 E. Broadway Street in Brunswick. The center will be open Monday, August 5 through Wednesday, August 7 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
