Marshall Public Schools’ Project S.H.A.R.E. is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, August 6.
This will provide an opportunity for parents and students to get ready for the school year.
One of the coordinators of the event Jason Varner explains this will be a one-stop shop for a lot of services.
Varner says all of the services are free. He also says the Marshall Police and Fire Departments will have vehicles at the event; and free school supplies will be given out.
“Once you go through Project S.H.A.R.E., then at the end, we’ll have backpacks available. Children must be available to receive those backpacks full of school supplies,” Varner said.
Varner says the all-day event at Marshall High School is in conjunction with all-school registration.
Varner says transportation is available for those who need it. “But you will need to call the OATS bus 24 hours in advance to set that up,” he said.
Varner says for more information, you can call (660) 886-7414, ext. 10136.
