A roll over traffic crash in Caldwell County resulted in serious injuries for two Kansas City residents on Friday, August 2, 2019.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred as the westbound vehicle driven by 33-year-old Kevin Ream traveled off the north side of the highway, overcorrected, traveled of the highway for a second time and overturned, and came to rest on its wheels on the north side of U.S. Highway 36. Ream and his passenger, 30-year-old Stephen Sellers both sustained serious injuries and neither were reportedly wearing a seat belt.
Ream was transported by Caldwell County Ambulance to Liberty Hospital while his passenger, was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital by Chillicothe Ambulance.
The crash happened at 1:45 p.m. on U.S. Highway 36, five miles east of Hamilton.
