At its meeting on Thursday, August 1, the Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works was asked to approve a bid for the electric production department.
MMU General Manager Jeff Bergstrom explains.

The total purchase price, according to a news release from MMU, is $37,025.
Bergstrom said the other actions involved change orders for a 161kV tie project for the electric distribution department.

After approving that, Bergstrom said the board also gave the green light to a change order for a reduction of $34,910.28 in the contracted amount for items that were bid on but were reevaluated and determined they were not needed.
