On Tuesday, August 6, Marshall Police officers reported to a residence in the 500 block of South English Avenue to an anonymous report of a man with several warrants for his arrest being on the premises.
According to a news release, officers arrested Xavier Swanigan. According to police, Swanigan had four active warrants- including a felony for resisting an officer in Saline County, with $10,000 cash-only bond; a felony for aggravated assault in Saline County, with $2,500 personal-recognizance bond; and for Felony Non-Support, with $500 cash-only bond in Cooper County.
Authorities say Swanigan complied with all commands, was taken into custody and transported to the Saline County Justice Facility and released to the custody of a deputy.
