Dorothy A. Cox, 84, of Marshall, died Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Marshall FFA Chapter or the Marshall Owls Girls/Boys Tennis team.

Survivors include two children, Mike Cox (Kathy) and Karen Mullins of Marshall; five grandchildren, Jeremy Mullins (Amanda), Brandon Mullins, Ryan Mullins, ReBekka Cox and Matthew Cox; two brothers, Kenneth D. Murdock (Phyllis) of Knoxville, TN and Bill Hanes (Lori) of Noel, MO; and several nieces and their families.

In addition to her parents, Archie Dean Murdock and Susie Richardson Murdock Hanes; and husband, William R. (Bill) Cox, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Danny Mullins; stepfather, Louis Hanes; and stepsister, Elizabeth Sims.
