The sidewalk around the outside of the Saline County Courthouse in Marshall is being replaced.
At the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, August 15, Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. talked about the project, which has started on the east side of the courthouse and is estimated to take about a month to complete.

Guthrey said he was told by the contractor the concrete sets up relatively quickly.

Guthrey said the project is going to cost the county $56,708.40. He also said the county owns the sidewalk and the city the curb.
