Marshall Code Official and City Inspector Mike Morgan further clarified a proposal to amend an ordinance relating to off-street parking during the meeting of the city council on Monday, August 19.
Morgan said he wants to make it clear as to what this ordinance does and does not do.

Morgan said this is something the Planning and Zoning Commission has been tossing around for a long time.

The council approved the first reading of the proposed amended ordinance. The second reading will be put before the council at a future meeting.
