Three Louisville, Kentucky, residents suffered injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash in Saline County on Friday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Dylan Williams, of Prairie Village, Kan., started to slow due to congestion and another westbound vehicle, driven by 23-year-old Memory Malumba reportedly did not and struck Williams’ vehicle in the rear.
While Williams reportedly was not injured, Memory Malumba suffered moderate injuries; and passengers in her vehicle- 17-year-old Christine Malumba and 25-year-old Deborah Ngula- each suffered serious injuries. The injured persons reportedly were transported by Saline County and Sweet Springs E.M.S. to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at 5:20 p.m. at the 82.6 mile marker on I-70.
