Two court proceedings for a Windsor man charged with multiple sex-related felonies after three youths accused him of inappropriate contact with them during two separate incidents last summer are scheduled to be held this week.
A probable-cause statement says on July 18, the juveniles alleged to authorities they were inappropriately touched during a sleep-over and pool party held at a residence in Windsor on July 2 and 7.
Online court documents say Christopher Hidy, who is now 44, is facing two counts of a Class C Felony for Third-Degree Child Molestation; a Class D Felony for Tampering or Attempt to Tamper with a Victim in a Felony Prosecution; and four counts of an Unclassified Felony for Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy.
Bond originally was set at $100,000 cash or surety. The court authorized 10-percent- or $10,000- cash bond on October 5, and Hidy posted bond on October 10.
Hidy was arraigned and pleaded not guilty on February 14. A motion by Hidy’s attorney for change of venue was denied by the court on May 13.
A criminal-setting hearing and a motion hearing are scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 26, at Henry County Circuit Court.
