During its meeting on August 19, the Higginsville Board of Aldermen talked about a big event coming up this week.
City Administrator Jeanette Dobson explains a time capsule will be dug up at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28.

Dobson also said after the Country Fair and Sesquicentennial Ceremonies are over, “We will have another event where people can bring new items to put into another time capsule. And then we will bury the original time capsule and the new time capsule to be opened in 50 years.”
