A Slater man and his teen passenger was injured in a roll-over traffic crash in Saline county Monday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred as the eastbound Ford F150 pick up, driven by 71-year-old Charles Hostetter, of Slater, ran off the side of the road, overturned and came to rest on its wheels.
According to the report, Hostetter received minor injuries and his 13-year-old passenger, Autumn Gier, of Slater was seriously injured. Both Hostetter and Gier were transported by Slater EMS to University Hospital Columbia for treatment.
The crash occurred at 12:05 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2019 on Moccasin Road, just north of 270th Road.
