UPDATE: 10 A.M.- MISSOURI HIGHWAY 23, BETWEEN CONCORDIA AND KNOB NOSTER IN JOHNSON COUNTY, HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.
Portions of three major highways in the KMMO listening area remain closed due to flooding.
According to the MoDOT Traveler Information Map, the closures are in Carroll, Lafayette and Johnson Counties.
U.S. Highway 65 remains closed between Waverly in Carrollton in Carroll County.
In Lafayette County, Missouri Highway 224, between Lexington and Wellington, remains closed.
In Johnson County, Missouri Highway 23, between Concordia and Knob Noster, is still closed.
Other area road closures include Route J, south of Dalton, in Chariton County; and a portion of Route Z, just west of Missouri Highway 87- due west of New Franklin- in Howard County.
