Marshall Mayor Julie Schwetz asked for updates on possible ordinances involving a few things that were talked about earlier this year during the council meeting on Tuesday, September 3.
Schwetz’s first question involved the possibility of people being able to drive golf carts and/or UTVs on certain city streets. City Administrator David Haugland fielded the question.

The council requested a little more time to look at it.
Schwetz also asked about the occupancy and rental inspection; and her question was answered by City Attorney Josh Taylor.

In other news, Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt reminded residents Municipal Services will be returning to its regular schedule for trash pickup, with the start time at 7 a.m. He also said due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 2, trash pickup in each ward will be pushed back one day this week.
