During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Tuesday, September 3, Mayor Julie Schwetz encouraged drivers to slow down in a work zone.

Schwetz also says she has been working with some citizens on a cleanup plan for the city.

In other news, the council approved a request for Relay for Life to use the square for an event on April 25, 2020; and a liquor license for a new business that will be located at 7 East Eastwood Street.
