Adam Arth, one of the founding members of getting the skate park going in Marshall, and Brandon Eades were at the most-recent city council meeting trying to gather support for raising funds for fixing up the park, which is not as desirable a destination as it once was.
Arth said the Indian Foothills Philanthropic Artist Collective is a nonprofit corporation seeking to stimulate the local economy, supporting local businesses by drawing tourism to the area; and to provide philanthropic services to those who need a helping hand.
Arth said one of their goals is to make it a safe, family-friendly environment.

Mayor Julie Schwetz asked about their intentions. The men said they have received some support.

Arth said there are a lot of local people who are willing to help so it wouldn’t be a huge cost. Council members were in support of their effort, complimenting them on their passion toward the project.
