Marjorie A. Munroe, age 92, of Houstonia, died Thursday, September 12, 2019.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 20, at Houstonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 19, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Memorials may be made to Show Me Christian Youth Home or New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include five children, John Munroe (Kathleen), of rural Nelson, Mike Munroe (Debbie) and Kathy Dreiling (Steve), of Lee’s Summit, Don Munroe (Peggy), of Marshall Junction, and Karen Wills (Greg), of Higbee; five grandchildren, Wendy Jacobs (Doug), Andrea Kiso (Jeremy), Kyle Munroe (Becca), Ashley Munroe and Elizabeth Munroe (Joe Iliff); eight great-grandchildren, Elise, Dalton, Levi, Kolby, Colton, Kennedy, Wyatt and Aiden; seven great-great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bella, Blake, Rennick, Griffin, Marlow and Maecie; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, James Elzie Hand and Beulah Frances Harris Hand, and husband, Donald F. Munroe; she was preceded in death by three brothers, Crawford, Bob and Lawrence Hand; and three sisters, Ruth Hood, Beulah Keller and Jimmie Thomas.
