A Marshall man was taken into custody on Friday, September 13, and now faces drug related charges.
According to a news release from the Marshall Police Department, at approximately 9 a.m. on Friday, September 13, officers executed a narcotics search warrant on the 200 block of East Gordon Street. During the search methamphetamine, LSD and drug paraphernalia were located.
Online court documents state that 56-year-old Carl Keith Peek has been charged with two Class D Felonies for Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid and a Misdemeanor for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Bond has been set at $7,500 cash or surety with 10% allowed. Peek’s initial court date is pending at Saline County Circuit Court.
