During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, September 10, Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner said the county received two contracts from the Missouri Department of Transportation the previous week.

Fenner said the cost-share agreement is going to be $1.3 million, which the county will have to have by the spring of 2022.
Commissioners approved both contracts- one for the construction of the turn lanes and the other for the transfer of ownership of the .65 miles of roadway to the county.
