A Hughesville man suffered serious injuries following a collision in Pettis County on Monday, September 16, 2019.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred as 34-year-old, Jason Opfer was northbound on Marshall Avenue when he avoided overturning on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Opfer struck the southbound vehicle driven by 50-year-old Deyette Bragaw, who was attempting to make a left hand turn.
Bragaw reportedly received minor injuries. Opfer was transported by air-ambulance to University of Columbia Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash happened at 2:35 p.m. in the thirty-six hundred block of South Marshall Avenue.
