A Pilot Grove man sustained minor injuries in a rollover all-terrain vehicle crash in Cooper County on Tuesday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as 70-year-old Vernon Twenter reportedly attempted to check the load while driving, and his eastbound ATV traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned, ejected Twenter and landed on him.
Twenter, who reportedly was not wearing a safety device, was transported by ambulance to Boone Hospital Center in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at 10:30 a.m. on Route N near Twenter Way Drive.
