A Boonville man has been charged with drug-related felonies after authorities found multiple drug-related items during the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday, September 18.
According to a post on the Boonville Police Department’s Facebook page, police officers, with the assistance from the MUSTANG Drug Task Force, served a search warrant at the residence of 30-year-old Johnathan Todd in the 1100 block of Sixth Street.
During the search, authorities say they seized methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription-controlled substances, packaging equipment associated with illicit drug sales, as well as drug paraphernalia used to ingest methamphetamine and marijuana. Todd also allegedly was in possession of stolen firearms.
Todd was taken to the Cooper County Jail, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Online court documents say Todd has been charged with five counts of a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; two counts of a Class D Felony for Stealing a Firearm; and two counts of a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Bond has been set at $30,000 cash or surety.
Todd’s initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
