Two Pueblo, Colorado, residents sustained minor injuries in a traffic crash in Saline County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 46-year-old Michelle Hester reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, and her eastbound vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck two signs and a concrete culvert.
While a passenger, 50-year-old Charles Childress reportedly sought his own treatment; Hester was transported by Sweet Springs E.M.S. to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.
The crash happened at 7:45 a.m. at the 66.6 mile marker on I-70.
