At a recent meeting of the Saline County Commission, commissioners approved the purchase of a tract of land at Marshall Junction.
According to meeting minutes, the approval was for a contract with Clell and Shirley Swift for .03 acres for $3,100.
The land will be used to place the water-pump station, which initially will pump water to the tower.
This is an ongoing measure for the progression of the Economic Development Project at the junction.
