A Sedalia man suffered serious injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Cooper County on Friday.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a northbound vehicle, driven by 31-year-old Zachary Smasal, reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a utility pole, overturned and ejected the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt.
Smasal reportedly was flown by MU Air Care helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened just after 7:30 a.m. on Missouri Highway 5, just north of Route PP.
