Mildred Maxine “Mickie” Hemme, 96, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Laurie Care Center in Laurie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs with Pastor Alan Mueller officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.  Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Survivors include one daughter, Maxine Williams of Stover; two grandchildren, Terri Conley (Terry Knight) and Aaron Williams (Meghann Zanga); seven great-grandchildren: Amber Pilarz (Brian), Ashley Beam, Alexis Meier, Andrew Opfer, Nicholas Williams, and Lyric Zanga; eight great great-grandchildren: MaKayla Knight, Carey Don Knight, Michael Dale Knight, Brandon Opfer-Kent, Derek Meier, Austin Catron, Chloe Anderson and Hank Opfer; as well as nieces and nephews.

Mickie was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Fletcher Jones and Nellie Marie Brown Jones ; husband, Elmer J. Hemme; her son-in-law, Jim Williams; one sister, Edyth Bassett; two brothers, Clyde Elmer Jones and Bernie Paul Jones; and a foster brother, Roy Allen.
