A Warrensburg man has been charged with a couple of felonies after a traffic stop on September 26 in Cooper County.
According to a probable-cause statement, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper says he found a loaded .40-caliber pistol- with one round in the chamber and 15 rounds in the magazine- and 403 grams of marijuana. A passenger in the vehicle- 24-year-old Elijah Alonzo Scott- reportedly claimed ownership.
According to online court documents, a warrant has been issued and Scott has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance; and a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Bond has been set at $15,000 cash or surety.
Scott’s initial hearing is pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
