During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, October 7, Police Chief Mike Donnell asked the council to approve a three items.
Donnell first asked to approve service bids for the department’s vehicles. He said he would like to have Cadwell’s Towing do service on the service equipment in the vehicles- such as sirens and stuff like that, which have to be done periodically.
Those requests were approved by the council.
Donnell also requested to go with another company to provide records, dispatch and mobile software for the department’s computer systems.
Donnell said time is of the essence because the city is either going to have to pay the company the department currently uses due to the contract being due.
A resolution for the request to go with Tyler Technologies was approved by the council, as well.
