GROUND-BREAKING FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER SET FOR THIS WEEKEND IN SEDALIA

Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education members and district administrators are scheduled to break ground for the new $10.5 million early childhood center this weekend.

According to a news release, School Board President Dr. Jeffery Sharp will speak about construction of the expanded and upgraded Pettis County Early Childhood Cooperative facility; and members of the Richard and Mary Loftus family will be on hand to discuss their commitment to early childhood education in Sedalia.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 12, at the property on Tiger Pride Boulevard on the campus of Smith-Cotton High School.
