A rear-end collision in Johnson County sent a Holden man to the hospital on Friday, October 11, 2019.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, says the crash occurred when the eastbound Chevrolet Suburban, driven by 47-year-old Robert Martin of Holden was struck from behind by the eastbound vehicle driven by 59-year-old Mark Thatcher of Lee’s Summit. Martin was reportedly slowing down to make a left hand turn when he was rear-ended by Thatcher.
Martin was transported by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Thatcher reportedly refused treatment of minor injuries.
The crash happened just after 5 p.m. on U.S. Highway 50 at NW 1251 Road.
