Several action items regarding water treatment were discussed at the most recent meeting of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works.
MMU General Manager, Jeff Bergstrom said the board discussed a few repairs that are needed in regards to water treatment. The first item was the replacement of the Boiler Feed System.

He continued by saying the Lime Slaker Control Panel and Carbon Dioxide Feed System also need some attention.

Bergstrom continued by stating that a request was made to the board to have someone come in and investigate to see what it would take to make the Carbon Dioxide Feed System operational. He said if it cannot be made operational, that is where the $150,000 budget will come into play in the event they system has to be replaced.
