A longtime member of the Slater City Council tendered her resignation during the council meeting on Tuesday, October 15.
Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri turned things over to Cathie Jeffries to read her letter to the council.

Dr. Allegri said Jeffries has been good to work with over the years.
