With computer hacking a continued threat everywhere, Saline County Clerk Debbie Russell said her office will be meeting with some people to discuss how to keep the election process safe.
During the meeting of the county commission on Tuesday, October 15, Russell said the meeting will be with folks from Midwest Computech on Thursday, October 17.

Also, earlier this year, the commission voted to approve the county clerk’s office to move from the courthouse to the north side of the square in Marshall- in the building that was used by the Saline County Re-Assessment Office. Russell said the old Re-Assessment sign is gone; and the new one depicting “Saline County Clerk” has been painted on the windows.
