The Glasgow School Board approved a motion to move forward to return 9,930 square feet of unused land to the original donor family during its meeting on Wednesday, October 16.
Unofficial minutes from the meeting say this portion of land is adjacent to John Donaldson Field and is not being used nor maintained by the district.
In other news, the board approved the district’s participation in a grant being written by Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA). If the grant is approved, the district will benefit by providing added support for students and families of students in kindergarten through second grades. There will be no cost to the district.
The board also tabled a decision on bleacher seating at John Donaldson Field. The board will review all bids at the November meeting.
