Saline County Commissioners opened separate bids for a truck and a trailer during their meeting on Tuesday, October 15.
During their meeting on Thursday, October 17, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden announced the commissioners had approved a bid for the trailer.

Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. broke it down as $35,200 was the base price- allowing $11,500 as the trade-in value; bringing down the total price to $23,700.
Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner said the county should take delivery by December 1.
In other news, Sheriff Cindi Mullins also announced the status of a current officer will be changing on Monday, October 21.

Mullins pointed out this is not an additional position. It just changes Weseloh’s status.
